American Spirit
a tribute to the victims and families of September 11th
The idea and force behind American Spirit
evolved out of a personal need and want Jeffery Giesener had to honor and pay tribute to the victims
and families of September 11. Armed with the concept, Jeff immediately elicited help and support
from a team of partners from across the USA that have donated their time and talents assisting in
creation, production and promotion of this completely 100% non-commercial presentation.
Key members of the American Spirit team
include Dev Chanchani, founder, Andrew Parmet, web designer, both of INetU, a nationally known
enterprise dedicated hosting firm. Neal Knobler - President Design Studio 2 who provided
creative design consultation and Rita Bulk - President RZB Marketing who through her dedication
and commitment heightened the national profile of American Spirit.
A particularly moving portion of the presentation is the
section of photographs of the commemorative lights at the site of the World Trade Center.
Photographer Timothy Miller, founder of Timothy Miller Photography of Allentown Pennsylvania,
captured the spirit and emotion of the illuminated display in evocative visual detail.
Joe Basquez of Austin, Texas who describes his style as
a cross-pollination of song writing, composition and electronica, composed the original
soundtrack for the project. Joes says, "America Responds soundtrack was born of the gamut of
emotions and national pride we all experienced as we watched the horror of the events of
September 11th".
It is our hope that in the quiet moments, when people sit
down at their computers, our web movie will give them the opportunity for personal reflection as
they connect with the memories and images that will forever mark and elevate the true meaning of
American Spirit."

The Story Behind America Responds...
The events of September 11, 2001 will forever be etched in our minds and hearts. We watched it
happen before our very eyes and thousands of Americans experienced it first hand. We experienced
the gamut of emotions from horror to sorrow to fear to anger and to national pride. This song was
born of those emotions.
