A message from Jeffery Giesener:

The American Spirit... a tribute to the victims and families of September 11 project began in early June with a visit to the Princeton Record Exchange - Princeton, NJ. While searching through stacks and bins of used CD's, a passion of mine, I stumbled upon a track of patriotic music that stimulated thinking about September 11 and what I could do to honor the victims, their families and the heroes of September 11th.

The idea of paying tribute to the victims and their families quickly became a passion as well as an obsession of mine. It also became obvious to me, since I spent the last 12 years developing marketing programs on the Internet, that I could use email and web technologies to spawn a positive global message of support. Actually, what I envisioned early on was the potential to harness the instantaneous power of email to spread a positive tribute that quickly would touch the world.

The result of these efforts along with the contributions of a team of talented and creative professionals resulted in the creation of American Spirit...a tribute to the victims and families of September 11th.

It's my personal belief that when we pause to remember - we should also remember and revive our collective humanitarian spirit as we take positive steps - whether through monetary contributions, volunteerism, in-kind donations to relieve the suffering of victims everywhere.

It is also our hope that you will find American Spirit uplifting, compassionate, unifying, emotionally-evocative and that it will enable personal recollection and reflection. Additionally, it is our wish that you will support this tribute by both opening your hearts and your email address book and forward the following URL http://www.americanspirit.inetu.net to your friends and family.

Click here to spread the tribute.

By doing so you will assist us in spreading American Spirit and allow it to touch the world.

Thanks for you support of American Spirit.
